Canadian Congress Elects New Co-Chair

In accordance with the IU Constitution, nominations for the office of IU Canadian Co-Chair are held every five years. Delegates to the Congress, which met September 16th, unanimously elected Local 7 Canada Business Manager Oliver Swan as Co-Chair. He will serve in that capacity through the next IU Convention with IU President James Boland. After being sworn in by President Boland, Brother Swan thanked the delegates for their confidence and assured them he would assume his new responsibilities with energy and dedication.
